Bikini Waxing

During your first visit, your Brandon Essentials esthetician will provide an overview of the whole process, so you know what to expect from start to finish. Our estheticians are extremely professional and well-trained. There is no need to feel embarrassed or nervous, and every effort will be made to make you feel as comfortable as if you were at home.
We use hard wax for bikini waxes, which is applied as a warm, thick liquid. As it cools, the wax hardens and is removed without the use of a muslin strip. Unlike soft wax, hard wax does not leave behind a sticky or waxy residue. Hard wax is the preferred wax for removing hair from delicate areas such as your bikini, under arms, and facial areas.
After the waxing is complete, and all hairs have been removed, a small amount of baby powder is applied to reduce any redness or swelling in the treated area. Baby powder has a natural cooling property which helps to eliminate any irritation waxing may have caused.
Before arriving for a bikini wax, we recommend our clients trim their pubic hair, to around a half inch in length. The shorter length makes the removal process more efficient (and less painful than waxing longer hairs), but clients should ensure that they don't trim too short, otherwise the wax may not be able to grab the hairs.

Bikini Wax Versus Brazilian Wax at Brandon Essentials

Bikini Wax

This waxing style focuses on the removal of the hairs that are exposed when wearing a bikini. You can expect the hairs along the inside of your thighs and between your belly button and the top of your bikini area to be fully removed. This is an ideal wax for beginners or if you are just looking to slightly trim your bikini area.
